Qing Yang is an M.A. student studying East Asian Studies at Stanford.
He completed his B.A. in Economics at UChicago, where he spent most of his time solving for Lagrange multipliers and writing bad code. He has previously interned with D.E. Shaw and the Economic Development Board of Singapore.
Currently, Qing Yang is writing his thesis on the energy market in China. He is also passionate about effective altruism and bridging the public-private gap to tackle existential challenges faced by humanity.
